The Hausa people are one of the largest ethnic groups in Africa, numbering around 86 million people, primarily concentrated in the Sahelian regions of northern Nigeria and parts of Niger, Benin, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Chad, Central African Republic, Togo, Ghana, as well as smaller populations in Sudan.
